How competitive is DFW Grab Bars on their installed prices?

 *  We are the least expensive installers that you will find on the internet.  We use ADA approved wall anchors and take great care in positioning your grab bar/s in the exact location of your needs, unless a wall stud is in the exact location of the mounting bracket.

How long does it take for DFW Grab Bars to install my grab bars?

*  Normally we can install (3) grab bars in about 2-1/2 hours.  I also provide on-site sales calls to your home to discuss and evaluate your exact needs.  If the grab bars have to be ordered the turn-a-round time through installation is about 7-10 days.

*  In some cases, yes; however, there is almost a infinite range of selections to choose from contractor grade to product that is advertised as “Jewelry for your Bathroom”.  We have made reference to them on our website.

Are all grab bars the same?

*  Absolutely not.  All of our products comply with ADA guidelines and standards.  Make sure that when you order you are ordering a “ADA Compliant” grab bar and then you’re getting the most from the product that it has to offer.  For your information, a grab bar that is not installed properly and anchored correctly will essentially make the ADA grab bar non-compliant and less effective.

Who should have grab bars installed?

*  Everyone! People of all ages and abilities can benefit from using Grab Bars.  Traditionally grab bars have been associated with the disabled; however, that has changed.  Grab bars are for people of all ages and abilities.  Grab Bars create a safe environment by helping to support and balance people of all ages.

Will the grab bars offered by DFW Grab Bars hold me?

*   A grab bar won’t be of much use if it doesn’t hold you up when you need it most.  Don’t purchase a bar unless it will hold up at least 250 lbs., that is obtained by adding your weight and the force you apply to the bar.

Can you grab the bar easily?

*  Your grab bar should have a diameter that is 1-1/4” to 1-1/2”.  Many bathtub and toilet safety bars aren’t designed to support a heavy weight and do not meet safety codes for people with disabilities.  Consider the products strictly as an assist, do not use them to support your weight.
